So today I get to review all my food choices for the past week to see where I'm missing important components of my diet. I'm excited for today, since I feel the food is the weakest area for me. I know what is healthy, or at least I think I do. But today I can't wait for someone to tell me truly what I'm doing right and wrong in my diet. I've already added into my life, suggestions from Monday and I really feel a world of a difference already.
The rule of waking up and drinking a ton of water before I do anything else was something that I've never, ever done. Since starting, I've noticed a huge difference in how my body feels after I drink the water to start my day. Another simple change.... breakfast. I know how important it is to eat first thing in the morning. However, I've always been the type of person that thinks food first thing in the morning doesn't sound appealing. A pot of coffee on the other hand, will hit the spot. I've added breakfast into my routine and I love how much energy I feel in the morning.

The rest of the weekend, I have a Barre class and a Zumba class planned. I'm excited to mix it up next week and see what my favorite classes end up being. So far, my favorite, just as it always has been is the impact class. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to punch the bag. The free therapy session is such a great release!
My first weekend will be a challenge. On tap, a Rockies games and a long weekend. This will be a true test. No beer, no nachos, no messing around. I guess good thing I'm allowed to bring almonds into the stadium. I think my biggest concern is to not snack, but to think about my options. I will miss the Friday Happy Hour, but for the sake of my journey, please pass a lime..... to go with my water!
